Hello Roth Families and Friends,
Today’s newsletter is to provide an important staffing update. Since July 1, I have had the opportunity and pleasure to work alongside two assistant principals. The foundation that Dr. Marie Windover and Mrs. Heather Kemper laid down last spring provided the framework for many of the positive things we have been able to accomplish so far this year. For that, and to them, I am grateful.
Last week, Dr. Marie Windover wrote a note to our staff with some important news. Today, Dr. Windover asked me to include the following note to the families that she has so graciously served during her tenure at Roth.
Dear Roth Families,
First, I hope you are enjoying some downtime with those you love. All of my children are home from college and I am soaking it in.
I'm writing this note to share with you that I have accepted another position at a school district in my hometown. I will finish this semester at Roth. My last day will be on Thursday, January 23. I am grateful to have had your partnership in supporting the incredible students at Roth. Please know that working with you and your children has been a true joy. I will take many happy memories with me.
Much Love,
Marie Windover
In my six months at Roth, I have seen firsthand how much Dr. Windover cares about the Roth Junior High community. She leads with compassion and grace. I know that many of you will miss her, and the connections that she has developed with our students. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Windover on her new position.
We have begun the process of finding a new assistant principal to join our team at Roth, and I will keep you informed as the search progresses.
Sincerely,Omar Hussain
Principal
