Hello Roth Families and Students,

This is the time of summer that brings me the most excitement. The halls and classrooms have been deep-cleaned and waxed. Our staff has had time to recharge. Roth is ready for our students to come home. And I am ready to meet them at the door.

Thank you to all families and students who participated in last week’s events: Meet the Principal on Monday, and Deck the Halls on Tuesday. I am grateful for the wonderful turnout. I am confident that this year will be characterized by a vibrant home-school connection. 

Here are some reminders about upcoming events/dates:

• Roth Community Meet, Eat & Greet (Tuesday August 20): Assistant principals Mrs. Kemper and Dr. Windover will join me as we visit four community apartment complexes to provide students and families who live there an opportunity to meet and greet your school leaders, as well as enjoy some snacks. Residents of each community are invited to attend. *We will visit Winton Village (10:30 to 11:30 a.m.), Rustic Village (Noon to 1 p.m.), Stonewood Village (1:30 to 2:30 p.m.), and Henrietta Highlands (3:30 to 4:30 p.m.). 
• Schedule Release (Friday August 23): Roth JHS student schedules will be available in SchoolTool no later than Friday August 23. We are making every effort to release on Wednesday August 21. Please remember to update your SchoolTool app and any browser bookmarks to the new URL: https://monroeoneric01.schooltool.com/rhcsd. If you have a schedule-related question after August 23, please email your student’s school counselor:

• 7th Grade WEB Orientation: ALL 7th graders are invited to attend our WEB Orientation from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 29.
• Open Campus (Locker Setup): we will open our campus to any student interested in setting up a locker on the following dates and times. *Please note that students are required to attend with an adult for locker setup.
  • Monday August 26, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Tuesday August 27, 1 to 7 p.m.
  • Friday August 30, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• First Day of School (Tuesday September 3): Let's go!
