School Information

  • Calendar and Parent Newsletter

The school calendar is mailed to every home during the summer. It will tell you about school holidays and what is happening at your school. On the last page is a map of the school district with important names and telephone numbers and the daily starting and closing times. Every month you will get a parent newsletter in the mail. It has important information about what is happening at the school.

    Snow Days

In the winter, school may sometimes be closed for bad weather. To find out if school is closed, listen to radio station 1180 AM or television channels 8, 10 or 13. Our district will be shown as Rush-Henrietta, NOT Rochester City Schools.  You can also check the RH website and if we are closed there will be information when you first sign on.

    School Agenda

All students are given a small calendar notebook called an agenda on the first day of school. Students must bring that to school each day. Teachers want their students to write down homework assignments in it for each class. It is also used for a hallway pass. In the front of the agenda is a list of more information about rules for school. Ask your son/daughter to show you their agenda.
