PBIS

  • This year at Winslow we will be sharing our expectations for student behavior in a new way.  We are going to talk to students about how to “Put Your Best Paw Forward” in making good choices, treating others courteously, and exhibiting good behavior.  Our expectations are framed around the ideas of being respectful, being responsible, being ready to learn, being caring, and being trustworthy. These expectations are connected to district-wide focus on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Ask your child about the Winslow lion and have him/her tell you what the expectations are in the classroom, hallway, playground and lunchroom.

I have attached the matrix of classroom expectations for you to discuss with your child.
