  • Q: How can I change my preferred language?

    A: The preferred language has been set for parents and students based on the primary language that is identified in SchoolTool. When a sender uses the translation feature, Remind will automatically translate messages you receive into your preferred language. To receive messages in a different language, you can change the preferred language on your Remind account.  

    To change your preferred language, follow these steps:

    Web:

    1. Log in to your Remind account.
    2. Click on your name located on the upper left side of the dashboard.
    3. Select Account settings.
    4. On the Profile page, scroll down to the Preferred language section.
    5. Click on the dropdown menu and select your preferred language.
    6. Select Save.

    iOS App:

    1. Open the Remind app.
    2. Tap the gear on the upper right.
    3. Select Your account.
    4. Tap Change under the Preferred language section.
    5. Search for your language, or scroll through the list to find it.
    6. Tap the language you've chosen.

    Android App:

    1. Open the Remind app.
    2. Tap the three vertical dots on the upper right.
    3. Select Account settings.
    4. Tap Your account.
    5. Tap Set preferred language.
    6. Search for your language, or scroll through the list to find it.
    7. Tap the language you've chosen.

    Your account will automatically update with your preferred language.
