Many of the websites below have been used with students in math class. There are a few sites that may be new, or that may be specifically intended for extra practice at home. Websites like IXL are licensed to Rush-Henrietta, and teachers have access to students' accounts. This helps us monitor what kids are working on and how they're doing. As you look for sites to use at home, please begin by looking at the categories, and consider which math topic is most in need for practice. If you're searching for some fun math games to play, try the "Multiple Math Topics" category and go from there.

IXL
This is a great webpage that provides independent practice in nearly all math skills by grade level. Students can also review old skills by trying lower grade levels, or attempt challenging questions by choosing higher grade levels. *Our school district has a site license to this website, so students will need to login with their username and password. -
Brainpop Jr.
This site has videos about many academic topics, but mostly for students in grades K- 3. Search the topic you're looking for. Be sure to use the Rush-Henrietta approved username and password! -

Try this website to practice identifying fractions. When you make a mistake the program gives you clues to help you find the correct answer. Don't forget to click "START" to begin. Click "New Example" when you want to try another problem.

This game practices the language of telling time, such as "5 o'clock" or "half past 10" as they match up to the correct analog clock.

-
Virtual Protractor
Great site for introducing protractors and angle measurements. I recommend the "Make and Measure" activity for making and checking angles using a protractor.Comments (-1)
