Active Reading Strategies

  • Active Reading Strategies

Reading is a process, not just an action. To get the most information and enjoyment out of a text you must become an active participant in that process.

Throughout the year we will be building and practicing a variety of strategies and techniques that will be useful for delving into any text. Remember, you should be reading 20 to 30 minutes each day outside of school. This is an excellent opportunity take charge of your own learning and put your reading strategies to work!!!
