Water Testing Results
-
Last spring, we announced that the Rush-Henrietta Central School District was testing all district buildings for signs of lead in its drinking water. Similar efforts have been made in school districts nationwide. Since that time, we have shared with you that the drinking fountains in our school hallways and gymnasiums are lead-free, but some wash sinks and classroom bubblers need to be addressed. It’s a significant task to replace these pipes and fixtures involved, but we are committed to reducing the lead content in our drinking water.
In October 2016, we posted full, districtwide water-testing report and remediation plan online. Those files are available for your review below. We will continue to update you as needed throughout this process. Thank you for your patience and support.
